From the dawn of time, humans by nature are categorised as social animals and my guess is (even though I’m not usually one to opt for compartmentalism), this is for a valid reason. Think about it like this if it helps, in our daily lives we constantly see and feel the invaluable importance of community be it in a family, with friends, at school or work. The simple truth is, people need people. We all crave connection, belonging and support from the moment we take our first breath. This fundamental need for human connection is what makes community so essential to our individual well-being and success.

As a prolific poet once said, “No man is an island.”

I understand the transformative power of community, that is why you are reading this today. This platform provided by Bellafricana is built on this understanding coupled with the belief that together, we can achieve more than we can alone. If you think two heads are better than one, try thirty thousand heads.

By bringing creative entrepreneurs, passionate creatives and small business owners together, Bellafricana has created a supportive ecosystem that fosters growth, learning and success.

And that is exactly what TALES: The African Lifestyle Experience, London’s latest lifestyle event is all about – building a community that empowers creative entrepreneurs and small business owners to flourish globally, while extending this empowerment to creative enthusiasts.

These creatives represent the best of African arts, fashion, beauty, food, and lifestyle, offering attendees a rich tapestry of talent and ingenuity.
  • Networking opportunities : Community is also about creating opportunities for growth and collaboration. On July 3rd, TALES Connect will kick off the event, providing a dedicated space for creatives to network, exchange ideas, and forge new partnerships. The power of community lies in these connections, which can lead to new ventures, collaborations, and a stronger support system for African creatives. One of the most anticipated aspects of TALES is this opportunity for attendees to engage directly with these talented individuals and other industry experts. The interactive workshops and panels will provide a platform for creatives to share their journeys, inspirations, and insights into the world of creative entrepreneurship. This exchange of knowledge and experiences educates and also strengthens the bonds within the community.

At TALES, live doodle and paint sessions with artists Isaac Emokpae and Kofo Nolla-Omidiran will offer a dynamic and collaborative experience, transforming art into a communal activity. These sessions exemplify how collective creativity can produce something truly unique and beautiful. Conclusion

This year has been quite rough for businesses, with the incessant rise and fall in dollar rate, the numbers kept falling and things got worse before they got better. The economy is looking up for many businesses; sales are going up and the future looks bright. If you haven’t registered for this boot camp, please do so, and see your sales bounce back by next sales years.

YES! you need to put together a strategic plan for the next year. Just think about it: If your sales dropped 50% this year, and you know they are going to increase 50% in your next year, you’re still going to make more money. And we’re not talking about a measly 10% increase here, we’re talking about 50%. That’s huge! How is that possible? It’s possible only if you take part in this bounce back December bootcamp!

Bellafricana ACE Awards 2018 | What to Expect at the Second Edition

Creative MSMEs have invaded Nigeria (Africa) and we certainly are not complaining.
In 2016, it became apparent that Nigeria was an import driven nation and that was how the “buy Naija to grow the Naira” came to be.
However, various sects of the economy are realising that for Nigeria to diversify and become an export driven nation, the beam light falls on MSMEs.
A fresh year is on the calendar and it is almost time for the second edition of the annual African Creative Exhibition and Awards (termed ACE Awards) hosted by Bellafricana. It brings to Lagos the best creative minds in the fields of Art and Craft, Fashion, Manufacturing, Beauty, Food Produce and so much more.
