The Bellafricana Creative Festival is set to hold on the 28th of December, because what better way to end the year than to throw a huge Made in Nigeria festival featuring some awesome Afrocentric producers?
This would be the first Creative Festival hosted by Bellafricana and to be honest, we were just going to hold on till the next annual African Creative Exhibition (ACE) Awards in 2018, but due to popular demand we decided to have the December festival and guess what? We are super excited about it. (more…)
Social media marketing is one of the most effectual ways a brand can use to build awareness, interact with customers and find potential clients so it’s no wonder why many businesses are adapting to it. Besides, it does seem rather easy enough – Post, like, share, comment. Right?
Social media is a tool and like most tools, if used carelessly can do your business more harm than good. You wouldn’t want to chase your existing customers away and repel potential ones would you?
I think not.
Without further ado, below are lists of social media marketing faux pas that can ruin or are already ruining your brand. (more…)

Whoever said “women are their own worst enemies” wasn’t lying or understating either. Among women there is jealousy, envy, bitterness, competition, rivalry etc….Women empowering women is such a rarity.

This post goes out to my fellow perfectionists. So for a while now, after procrastination, the second thing on my negative list to consciously get rid of this year is ‘Over Perfectionism’. I thought it was a good/okay thing, but I now realise there is a very bad side of this trait I have acquired.
The thought of this led to this quote over the weekend, and I’m sure you can relate to it, “Over Perfectionism Can Certainly Kill/Drown Your Beautiful idea”. It’s time to get it behind you, and cast the negative spirit out fast.
A strong business team is vital to achieving your dream of building a sustainable business and becoming successful. No successful entrepreneur ever became a billionaire alone, they all have a team. Don’t miss the chance to join us this month.
When in business, inspiration can come from almost anywhere. However, a few small business owners forget to use one of the most important tools readily available to them. One of the most important tools that you can use is community. In any city there will always be a community to connect with, and as an entrepreneur, you need this.
The Bella community (powered by Bellafricana, a company that promotes African made products and services) is a community where aspiring, upcoming and experienced entrepreneurs meet on a monthly (every 3rd Friday of the month) basis to connect and network. We do this to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs, help more business owners grow their businesses through networking, whilst gaining experience from proven entrepreneurs. You as intrapreneurs (working class) are also invited.
Based on a research and survey we carried out recently amongst creative entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, we have come to the conclusion that to sustain an online community of African made products and services, an offline community will strongly enhance the growth of the online vision. Bellafricana (a company that promotes African made products and services) hereby presents “The Bella Community”.
