There are a number of creativity resources available to us at our finger tips, thanks to the internet. However, Iโll be sharing the top 3 creativity resources that have been very beneficial to me and my work. Iโll be using my experience as a content creator on this article, but best believe that you can implement some, if not all of these tools to your advantage irrespective of your industry.
Instagram
Instagram has evolved to become a major creativity tool, being a photo sharing app naturally makes Instagram a good source of inspiration (reasons why many people are caught scrolling through their feed when it seems like they need more inspiration. This doesnโt mean everyone scrolling through the gram during work hours is looking for inspiration)
With Instagram, youโre able to see what other people are sharing, but thereโs really more to this oh so popularly loved app. Youโre now able to follow your favorite hashtags, and view related content from all over the world. For example, if youโre a fashionista, you can follow hashtags like #fashiondaily or #realstyle and you will be able to see fashion related content from all over the world and Iโm sure you will be able to do exciting stuff with all the inspiration you find.
Skillshare
Although I havenโt used skillshare so much, Iโve heard and read great testimonies from people who actively use the platform. Skillshare has online classes not skewed towards creative content only, but also fields like business and entrepreneurship. So, yes I would recommend skillshare too.
Brit+Co
Brit+co is more or less a classroom for creatives. They have loads of free and paid online class for pretty much anything. Brit+co is highly recommended for people who love art, crafts, and design, and are trying to gain more knowledge, or just basic beginner techniques. I also recommend this platform for creative business owners, and also content creators who want to get their content right.
Some other creativity resource tools I use include: YouTube, Pinterest, Hootsuite, Canva, and my color note pad (for when I need to write down ideas that pop up in my head. Also, it helps me group my articles into colors, so when I need to re-read them I just know what color to check You can get color note here.
