[dropcap custom_class=”normal”] The Nigerian small, medium and large entrepreneurs sector has received a boost with the launching of Tradenigeria.ng, an interactive business based platform, anchored on promoting entrepreneurship, business development and market growth in the country.
“With Nigeria’s current economy no longer relying on oil and gas, the silver lining is that this creates more opportunity for innovation and entrepreneurship to emerge. Nigerians are entrepreneurial by nature, and combining this drive with technology is one of the clear ways to ensure that businesses are highlighted and receive the traffic and client interest that they need in order to succeed.” says, Ms. Michelle Smellie – Director of TradeNigeria.ng. 5 Entrepreneurship Lessons Working In McDonald's
[dropcap custom_class=”normal”] I want to start this article about 5 entrepreneurship lessons I gained working in Mcdonald’s with one of my favourite quotes by Steve Jobs “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.”
Sometimes you go through your journey in life and wonder of what use the experience is to your future.
It’s taking me a while to write this article, simply because I didn’t know how to put it in words and translate the journey to an experience that will encourage you. Sometimes we spend so long thinking about doing something and we never get around doing it. Some call it procrastination; I just call it pure laziness and excuses to not do.
I spent over 6 years in the UK for studies right after Secondary School in Nigeria. This is a really long story and as you may know I can talk for Africa, so I will try to keep it short and straight to the point. After spending a year supporting my aunty who I was living with at the time, she finally got me a job working with Mcdonalds (Brimsdown, Enfield London to be precise). [/dropcap]

I get so many emails from people asking me what chemicals are safe for their hair etc, well below is a list of a few chemicals that are a definite NEVER for black hair! Remember, whatever you use on your hair is absorbed into your body through your scalp. This is why I advocate the use of 100% natural or Organic products, it’s easier than trying to dodge chemicals. That being said, I still advice that you read the ingredients of every product before you purchase it, just because something says it’s natural or organic on the face doesn’t mean it’s safe! For Nigeria to Thrive, It Is Time to Get Selfish by Babatunde Olaoluwa Jeje
[dropcap custom_class=”normal”] For Nigeria to thrive, we need to become selfish and be the ones who tell our own stories and take charge of our narrative. We can no longer be generous in letting others brand us as they wish. We have several vehicles for telling our own stories, including entertainment just as Hollywood and the American music industry have told their own stories and influenced the world for many years. We can influence the world through Nollywood and our music positively too.
We need to become very selfish and send out envoys who understand how to present Nigeria as a force for the greater good, rather than generously embarrassing us and providing more negative stories for the world press and their advertisers. [/dropcap]

3 Steps to Build the Right Team by Patrick Hull
[dropcap custom_class=”normal”] I understand the urge to pursue your passions and that many entrepreneurs have limited funds, but you can’t do it alone. Creating a startup and growing a business is a hell of a task and one that will require an entrepreneur to have many roles. No one person has a skill set for every role and trying to take on everything yourself will hurt your company, especially if you don’t build the right team around you. [/dropcap]
